SPORTELMonaco 2010 - Women in sport - International symposium

During the discussions of the 21st International Symposium, to be held on Tuesday 12 October 2010, at 10:30 am during SPORTEL in Monaco, outstanding female personalities will be sharing their opinions about the status of women in the world of sport.

Exceptional because of their sport career and professional experience, they have crisscrossed all aspects of sport while reaching its highest peaks. In stadiums, business, sports organisations and media, their experience acts as an example, often original and always fascinating.
Following an introduction by Jacques Rogge, IOC President, Anita De Frantz, President, of the IOC Women and Sport Commission, Nadia Comaneci, Olympic champion, Sarah Lewis, Secretary General, FIS (International Ski Federation), Isabelle Sévérino, President, CNOSF Athletes’ Commission, Ingrid Deltenre, Director General, EBU (European Broadcasting Union), Barbara Slater, Director of Sport, BBC, Anny Courtade, President, Cannes Volleyball Racing Club (France), Carol Isherwood, Member of IRB (International Rugby Board), Oksanna Kossatchenko, Agent for F1 driver Vitaly Petrov and Bibiana Steinhaus, Bundesliga referee, will take the floor in this modern and unique debate, to be led by Patrick Chêne, CEO, SPOREVER and Richard Bunn, Chairman, RBI Network.
